An experimental aircraft built to create the fastest and most technologically advanced aircraft, the largest component is it's engine a V-1570 Curtiss Conqueror V-12, to boost it's speed the design team made it as aerodynmically clean as possible, on it's test flight it showed great perfromance and set a Soviet speed record but problems with cooling and it's obviously poor visiblity were unignorable promblems (trim for landing gear and skids)
