The Type 5 Katana is an 8x8 wheeled (amphibious) IFV designed for the Midgardian military. ( In real life this is my take on a a Russian K-17 Bumerang IFV.)
It is the first in a line of modern modular fighting vehicles in development for the Japanese military. Other platforms of this vehicle will include an armored ambulance, command post vehicle, recon vehicle, anti-tank missile carrier, air -defense system, fire support vehicle, mortar carrier, light tank, and a self propelled gun.

Armament: (carried in remotely operated turret.)
-AK-42 30mm cannon w/320HE & 180 AP, 7.62mm co-ax, and 4x Kissaki-EM ATGM's able to engage armor and low flying helicopters out to a range of 10 km.
