The ammunition consists of a tactical ammunition spreader (TMD) and 202 multiple effect submunitions, which are used to replace the old "stone eye" cluster bombs. The ammunition has the function of breaking armor, killing and burning. It can attack many kinds of ground targets, such as clustered tanks, vehicles, artillery positions and assembled active forces. It is mainly used for low altitude support, air defense suppression and battlefield interdiction.
