Aircraft Design and History-
The CT-100 or 'Taskmaster' as affectionately known by her crews, is a short to medium range - twin-turbofan engine, cargo, crew or troop transport aircraft designed for the RAF in the early 2020's as a replacement for the Airbus A-400 aircraft.
Initial designs of this aircraft were to be fitted with similar gears and gear casings as the Japanese Kawasaki C-2, however this was changed many times over during the later design stages.
With a load capacity and weight support of between 35 - 38 tons, it currently serves the mid range of cargo transport aircraft being able to surpass the A-400 and the C-130J aircraft of the USAF in weight capacity.
Operational History-
January 2021 - maiden flight takes place from RAF Brize Norton - this flight reportedly carried out with only minor issues with lighting.
July 2021 - Orders for RAF initialized with first 4 orders completed and delivered.
November 2021 - Flights to the middle east completed with 6 aircraft of various types based in the UAE and Egypt.
February 2022 - Aircraft begins operations in the black sea offering aid to Ukrainian forces.
