Designed as a complement to the MiG-29 and competitor to the American F-14 Tomcat and F-15 Eagle, the Su-27 Flanker is a highly maneuverable fighter, especially at lower speeds. It was the first aircraft in Soviet service to use fly-by-wire, allowing for controlled flight at high angles of attack. Should the Cold War go hot, the Su-27 would be tasked with both intercepting NATO strategic bombers and escorting Soviet Tu-95’s, Tu-22’s, and Tu-160’s. The Su-27S is the initial production model of the Su-27.
Early variants of the Su-27 were operated by the Soviet Union and are still operated by some former Soviet territories, including Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Eritrea, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Vietnam also still operate Su-27’s. Read more...

Author's Notes
- Fuel and gun ammo is unlimited.
- On takeoff from runways, I recommend 100% flaps with no trim. Get to around 300 km/h and give slight taps for the pitch to avoid tail striking. (For keyboard users)
- On landing, use the trim to achieve your glide slope and adjust using pitch. (For keyboard users)
- Overpitch allows for cobra maneuver, and with some practice, kulbit maneuvers(ish). This is easier if you release the munitions and use flaps. Overpitch is now disabled above 680 km/h.

I moved the weapons changelog since it became somewhat problematic when updating older aircrafts. It didn't make much sense to to have the weapons changelog span across multiple posts, so it is now one living document instead.

On a side note, the F/A-18F Super Hornet, F/A-18E Super Hornet -Maverick-, and F-15C Eagle will be updated this standard soon. I'll make a forum post when the time comes. As for the F-16C Viper, I have other plans.

Issue: when ever i got past 800 kph, when i roll it just suddenly explodes, it may be the missile is colliding with the fuselage.

@Rjenteissussy It can, but it's realistic PSM. You'll gain a bit of altitude when you cobra at highish speed since as seen here at 1:05.
