This is a fairly stable helicopterbut it takes a bit to get used to. Use throttle to go up, pitch to go forward, and use yaw to primarily turn. Sometimes you might need to use the yaw to actually roll instead of just turn because the helicopter tends to slowly roll to the right, but then you can use the roll control to steady yourself. Again, takes a little bit of time to get used to.
