Boeing-Vertol 347 Chinook
50.4k Stingray
9.5 years ago
In 1970 the Boeing-Vertol team built winged Chinook protypes, often designated BV-347. In level flight, they handled smoother and faster than Chinook CH-47s. Set VTOL to 4th bar from the top, go full throttle. Vertical takeoff is immediate. Level out with pitch & roll. Raise VTOL to middle bar for increased level speed. This model goes 300+ MPH at 10,000 feet.
