When you put the sub in the water, let it bob for a while and when it is done bobing, slightly put the VTOL lever up just a little. Next, give full throttle with the VTOL up just a little and when it reaches about 75 mph, very slightly put the VTOL lever down just a little below the halfway point. By now it should sink down. When it comes back up out of the water, feel free to do it again.
