The Bell XP-59 Airacomet is the U.S.As. first jet fighter originally produced on October 1942 althought the Bell XP-59 Airacomet was not very succesfull or popular it gave the U.S.A. the valuable experince of making, manafacturing and flying of jets which proved to be invaluable for later jet manafacturing
