GUEVAN C-1 SuperLiner
Making a SuperSonic Transport wasn't an easy task.
Many Aircraft giants such as boeing, Airbus, Lockheed, and amongst other are failed to achieve the 50s Dream. but some company work together to create the fastest airliner to ever created, the concorde and if you love the east you should've been know there is the Tu-144. but in this particular moments SimplePlanes Giants @WinsWings created the SST W-100 the aircraft was such a beauty it can reach mach 2.01 and its more efficient than a concorde. it can fits 12 Passenger comfortably.
DEVELOPMENT
The developments of the the GC-1 is started at 1980 where is the era of the SST has been ended. infact it was ended almost 20 Years Ago the company realised they haven't made any commercial vehincles and so they started it with the most brave project. The SST .
as i said before THe SST is Stands For SuperSonic Transport and this project was one of these.
prototypes after prototypes have been made improved and finnaly it reached the perfection. in 1985 the 3rd prototypes made its maiden filght, everything goes well but its just not the speed they wanted. see this SST should reach the speed of mach 2.0 in cruising and 2.2 in full throttle, but this only reached mach 1.3 in cruising and 1.7 in full throttle. so they used and modified one of their own engine. it was Guevan EG 100 the engine was used in earlier bombers and mid sized fighter but it was modified for the civillian use, military feature such as afterburner was removed from the engine and the fuel efficiency was increased for better range. 2 months later the engine was finished and its ready to be fitted so do the 4th prototype. it also was......failed
they simply wouldn't give up they give a second try by improving aerodynamics, engine efficiency in speed fuel combusting and many more was also improved. exactly 3 months later its ready for its final flight before entering production, but there is a tweaks. the Airline Company that requests it to made the plane is changing the requirements. from mach 2 to only mach 1.8 and cruising speed of mach 1.6 . Guevan accepted the newer requirements, and they tested the plane, the results is the plane is able to do exactly mach 1.8 and cruising speed of mach 1.67 at 36.000ft and 1.7 at 40.000ft.
