Here he is, the famous dot gobbler himself, PAC-MAN. PAC-MAN is the player controlled character from the 1980 arcade game of the same name. His main antagonists are 4 ghosts called Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, each of which have their own unique pathfinding algorithms. PAC-MAN's goal is to clear each stage of all dots on the screen while avoiding the previously mentioned ghosts. However, there are 4 larger dots known as Power Pellets that allow him to eat the ghosts and send them back to the center of the screen, where they start over again. PAC-MAN (the arcade console) was originally called PUCK-MAN in Japan, but was changed to what it is today to avoid a rather obvious way for troublesome arcade visitors to vandalize the console.
