"hermes" space glider
inspired by the ESA hermes project. ride this wild spinning rocket. glide home to safety. to use...full throttle and then retract gear. at 350-400mph the rocket will oscillate wildly, don't worry it will continue upwards, mostly. at approximately 50,000 ft it will level off. throttle down and use detacher 1. glider behaves very different at higher or lower velocities. so far I have kept her up for a duration of 15 mins, and hit 1300mph on different runs. can u do more...played on laggy tablet on low settings, very interested to hear how she behaves on better equipment. Would really like this to be the second stage in a truly huge rocket, with boosters too but can't build on my device. Someone please make my dream a reality

6,551 NassassinFun and very challenging to fly (especially landing). Switch to orbit view before you start the engines and try to keep the rockets speed below 300 mph for a smooth flight.9.8 years ago
