Created just a few months before its brother, the 1040B was made, the 1040 costs around £12.7M to make, boasting top of the line 200mm thick front hull and turret armour at thickest, with 135mm as the thinnest.
Since its creation it has faced deadly opponents in conflicts, seeing military action from 2000 to 2023, before being fully replaced by a much more capable IX-1020 and 1020A, being adapted for the modern battlefield.
