PoiyaYudatsi A-196 Inazuma

Brief Information

The PoiyaYudatsi A-196 Inazuma (named after IJN Inazuma) is a twin-engine turbofan-powered transonic light strike aircraft developed and built by PoiyaYudatsi from the T-85 Nagatsuki advanced trainer counterpart.

Essentially an armed, strike fighter configuration of the T-85, she was the first to develop even advanced fly-by-wire controls unlike her trainer counterpart. She among the ground attack aircraft to use bucket-type thrust reversers like her counterpart.

She entered service in 2004 with the Karyan Union Air Force, then in 2005 as the license-built Cormack (now CormackGalaxy) Type 65MPSF (Multi-Purpose Strike Fighter) Sheffield.

A redefined, improved, and reconfigured multi-role afterburner-engined version will enter service with both the Royal Fabellan Air Force and Royal Odrasean Air Defense Force in Q3 2020 as the APF-30 (Advanced Purpose Fighter) Mogami, in joint production with CormackGalaxy, NeiconNicress, and PoiyaYudatsi.
