Welcome to the Modern Fighter Jet Challenge! Your mission is to design a fighter jet from 1980 to the present day with a twist: They will be integrated into my fictional roleplay world of Novara! While real-world aircraft are allowed, you are encouraged to create unique designs that can fit into my fictional world. Choose a country from my roleplay world map and assign your aircraft to it. The best designs will be featured in my roleplays, stories, and animations, with full credit given to you!

Rules

1. Design Era
Your designs must fall within the 1980s to the Present in terms of both design and functionality.

2. Real vs. Fictional
Real-world designs are allowed but must include a fictional backstory to fit into the roleplay world. Fictional designs are highly encouraged!

3. Allowed Features
There are no restrictions on added features. Custom weapons are allowed but should remain realistic in terms of appearance and functionality. Bonus points will be awarded for functional cockpits, realistic flight characteristics, and unique design elements.

4. Submission Guidelines
Your submission must be a successor to this post. If you're unsure how to do this, feel free to ask for help.

Include the following in your description:
Aircraft Name
Backstory (including its role in the fictional world)
Optional Country Assignment (see Rule 7).
Include at least one in-game screenshot in the thumbnail or description.

5. Part Limits
There’s no hard limit on parts, but please aim to keep it under 1,500 parts to ensure accessibility for users with devices of all ranges.

6. Uniqueness
All submissions must meet the following requirements:

Original Work: The design must be your own creation.
New Build: The aircraft must be built after the challenge was posted (no earlier than November 15th).

7. Country Assignment (Optional + Bonus)
I’ll provide a map of my fictional world, Novara. You’re welcome to select any country and assign it to your aircraft.
Bonus points will be awarded for integrating your aircraft into the lore of your chosen country.

Feel free to ask questions about the world—there’s no such thing as a country too weak or poor to field powerful weaponry in this universe. Pick whichever one inspires you!

8. MOST IMPORTANT!!!
Have fun! This challenge is about creativity and enjoying the process, so don’t stress—just build something awesome!

Example: My DRA-07F Nyx II is an example of what the challenge is looking for. Your description doesn't have to be anywhere near as sophisticated as mine, so don't worry.

Scoring

10 Categories worth 10 points each, for a total of 100 points + 30 bonus points up for grabs.

1. Rules and Requirements (10 Points)
   Does the design adhere to the challenge rules and guidelines?

2. Effort and Detail (10 Points)
   How much effort is evident in the design? Is it well-crafted and detailed?

3. Fighter Requirement (10 Points)
   Does the design fit the challenge's fighter jet theme?

4. Bombers, ground vehicles, and other non-fighters will not qualify (multirole aircraft are acceptable).

5. Lore Integration (10 Points)
   Has the design been successfully and properly integrated into the lore?

6. Description Quality (10 Points)
   Does the description meet the requirements?
   Includes the name, backstory, and optional country assignment.

7. Thumbnail Appeal (10 Points)
   Is the thumbnail detailed, well-composed, and visually appealing?

8. Accessibility (10 Points)
   Does the design fall under the 1,500-part limit to ensure compatibility with most devices?

9. Deadline Submission (10 Points)
   Was the design submitted by the deadline? (December 24th, Christmas Eve)

10. Originality (10 Points)
    Whether real or fictional, is the design unique and not a reupload?

Successor Requirement (10 Points)
Is the submission a successor to the challenge post?

Bonus

+5 Points: Comprehensive and interesting backstory.
A well-written narrative that adds depth to the aircraft’s role and history.

+10 Points: Unique and custom design.
The design stands out for creativity and innovation.

+15 Points: Assigned to a country in the roleplay.
The aircraft is tied to a specific country from the provided world map with thoughtful integration into its lore.

+30 Points: Achieve all three bonus categories.
Maximize creativity, storytelling, and roleplay immersion!
