The H-SCRamjet, or H-SCR, pronounced H-score, is a Hybrid Scramjet/ turbojet combination. The engine is designed with a bypass (not an actual jet bypass, thats different), which allows fuel to flow directly to the engine exhaust, which is to be done after Mach 1. this creates a scramjet, which can be used to take an aircraft off with the conventional engines, and increase speed and engine ability when going transcore. the scramjet efficiency is greatest at supersonic rates.
