T-T-81B
Intro
The T-81B is a subsonic, unmanned UAV designed for long range reconnaissance and maritime patrol missions.
The T-T-81B is a conversion of the T-81B platform into an aerial target platform.
Controls
To set the altitude you'd like the drone to reach, just set the circled number to whatever altitude you like (in meters).
(Note: the circled number is the minimum altitude that this aircraft will hold. If taking off from a runway and climbing, it will end up holding an altitude about 100m above the set number. If spawned in air, it will hold whatever altitude the spawn point is at (if the spawn point altitude is above the set number))
Specs
- Top Speed: 242 mph (390 kph)
- Max Altitude: ~40000 ft (12100 m)
- Minimum range: 808 mi (1300 km)
Notes
The funky trees code is very, very crude, but it works well, and I'm happy with it.
Just spawn the aircraft at an airport, and it'll take off and climb to the set altitude completely by itself, which is fun to watch (can also be spawned in-air).
This is just a quick 3 day build to test out building a target drone that can take off from a runway and reach a predetermined altitude completely by itself. I already had the airframe lying around, so I just had to come up with the FT code, which was a fun challenge.
Have fun shooting this plane out of the sky!
