Special Thanks and credit to @TheRealGoober for the smoke trail device.

The Hawk had landed! Don't forget to deploy the landing hook (AG1) when you are landing on USS Beast. This plane has very good low speed handling. You can fly 120 mph at east.

History:

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a single-seat subsonic carrier-capable light attack aircraft developed for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps in the early 1950s. The delta-winged, single turbojet engined Skyhawk was designed and produced by Douglas Aircraft Company, and later by McDonnell Douglas. It was originally designated A4D under the U.S. Navy's pre-1962 designation system.

The Skyhawk is a relatively light aircraft, with a maximum takeoff weight of 24,500 pounds (11,100 kg), and a top speed of 670 miles per hour (1,080 km/h). The aircraft's five hardpoints support a variety of missiles, bombs, and other munitions.

Manufactured form 1954–1979, Retired form US Navy in 2003, and Israel Air Force in 2015. (quite recently).

A4 also served as one of the US Navy Blue Angel flight team aircraft.

You are welcome to recolor this with some of the above livery - if so, please make it as a predecessor -

@WinsWings - This is great. The switch from ME to design is a huge leap for many, but you are obviously very talented. I’m not on instagram but I’ll join just to connect with you. I currently work at a major software company as a director. Wish we had talent like you have on our team. Cheers!

@WalrusAircraft I was initially trained as a Mechanical Engineer, occupied with AutoCAD drafting during the late 1990s/eraly 2000s. But later moved completely into graphic design. Currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer in New York.

@windshifter thank you! One reason I have to stick with low part count is because I am busy with my day job.

@WinsWings - I’d love to see some of your work if you have a portfolio. I’m envious since my team is kind of missing the artistic edge in our video strategy (we create developer software). I’m always in awe of good designers. I’m building a new machine just to run After Effects since it is a RAM monster. But I’m afraid I’ll be limited by my creative limits. There are some really good content creators out there. I’m sure you are one of them.

@WalrusAircraft I just look up NX, amazing software - something like SolidWorks. I was a AutoCAD draftsman (very long time ago when DOS was still common) currently working as a graphic designer. So much of amazing tools are going on these days.

@WinsWings - Yes! We made a lot of great memories together. Walrus Jr. was a talented builder and his helped drive his passion to enroll in engineering and specialize in aero. I think those kids are using Siemens NX and run their race car sims through Rescale HPC that was kind enough to donate a lot of server time. I wish my company could have donated some HPC resources, but the powers that be at my work are more interested in their Redbull racing program, and not helping students.

Thanks for the highlight on my old Bear. Started in this game ages ago as an activity to play with my son. I think we were player #150 or so. Walrus Jr. is now a Sr. in UTD engineering and currently leads the schools Formula SAE program. No time to play these days!
