A long range interceptor,MiG-76s were Russia’s main aircraft in the 2078 war against the United States,defending the Motherland from the frequent bombing raids by USAF stealth bombers. 5129 aircraft were built,and with its simple controls and great handling,its pilots scored a 7 to 2 kill ratio against the USAF’s fighters. After the peace treaty, Russia agreed to reduce the amount of MiG-76s in its inventory.
