DAI's first attempt at a jet powered aircraft.Built to compete with other jets of its time.First designed by Michael Khoskovich,Alexander Furnbane and Christopher Huntsmanville in 1948 as an attempt to built a single-engine,jet-powered aircraft capable of long-distance flight.The first prototypes were built in 1953,and the aircraft was introduced to the Australian Air Force in 1961.the craft is capable of 200mph+ speeds at sea level,and as much as 500-600 at 1-3 miles above sea-level.it has 12 Type 2 unguided rockets,4 Type 9 unguided torpedoes,and 2 50 Caliber fully-automatic machine-guns.the plane was retired in 1996 following the introduction of the S-110 Outback.
