-JNS Chidori-
The JNS Chidori is the first in a class of Patrol/Missile boats designed for my Japanese Navy. Designed to be modular the Chidori Class can be outfitted as a true missile boat or a patrol craft.
The missile boat seen here is armed with a SMASH 30mm naval gun on the fore deck, two 12.7mm MG's in stabalized mounts midship port & starboard, and 4 Naval Strike Missiles capable of attacking sea or land targets on rear deck.
In time of war strategic doctrine would usually see the Chidori class operating in a defensive posture using other assets such as airborne AWACS, Helo's, etc... for targetting data.
