The Wr-10 project started in 1971 when The Republic of Westerland needed a attack helicopter for close air support because a border conflict has erupted between a neighboring country and lack of CAS aircrafts. This aircraft debuted on 1981 at the height of the border conflict and has an immense impact for Westerland.
