An interesting experimental concept. Here is a light bomber that most of the time, doesn't require the use of its engine. Taking the aerodynamics of birds like the albatross as the inspiration, this aircraft can glide effortlessly for long periods and even maintains most of its agilty whilst gliding. If handled correctly, it can glide between the two islands and it can even carry out attack runs whilst gliding. VTOL up raises a small brake on the aricraft's back to aid with speed control whilst gliding.
