The SI-30 is a high speed interceptor designed to enter combat at high speeds, shoot down its targets from afar with its 6 interceptor AMRAAMs and then speed away safely. It is also equipped with 2 short range missiles and 2 wing mounted guns for the occasional close encounter, however prolonged turn fights are not recommended due to its gas guzzler engines and medium-high turn radius. Experinced pilots recomend speeding away, then turning aroundand engaging from afar the safest tactic against turn fighters.
