See Artemis Tank Mk II REMASTERED for controls and statistics. The Artemis Tank Mk IIA was an Artemis Mk II with new bogies that offered greater protection to the bogies. The hull, turret, and armament were retained. These machines proved somewhat more resilient, but maintenance on the suspension was more difficult. In addition, it was still vulnerable to 90mm railguns and 105mm coilguns. This modification was adopted in an ad-hoc fashion, as upgrades were done via kits. It was uncommon to find tanks in the field with the older and newer bogies. The Artemis Mk II was one of the most feared tanks in the Second and Third Olympian Wars, as well as during the Three Nations War.

The heavy and well-sloped armor proved difficult to penetrate, and the 105mm cannon was a 12-stage coilgun capable of firing a 22-kilogram finned tungsten projectile at a speed of 13,000 meters per second. In addition, it could fire a variety of projectiles, including canister, high-explosive, HEAT, HEP, and phosphorus rounds. The only gun the Pilotmario Armed Forces had that was comparable were the 90mm railgun on the Victoria I, which although capable of firing a finned 19-kilogram depleted uranium projectile at 19,000 meters per second, could not fire the variety of ammunition the 105mm coilgun could, as it was believed that the sheer velocity was sufficient to create an explosive effect via shock wave. The power and versaitility of this cannon was so noted that it was copied by the Pilotmarians and used on their tanks. The reformed Hellenic Army still operate these machines.
