MK 2 QUADCOPTER NOW RELEASED. MUCH FINER CONTROL
here is a prototype quadcopter. roll and pitch is controlled by the rotors. TO USE. full throttle, once rotors have got up to speed full up on vtol control (this affects altitude) use normal controls but it's hugely sensitive, and once it goes wrong it goes fast. feel free to add fuel, or modify in any way.

Nice idea! There's an easier way to control it, but I'm still trying to figure out how to yaw like a real quadcopter (using just the rotors and not other thrust sources to help).

You can reduce the weight of the rotor by removing one of the 2 rotators in line. you can use 2 blades for altitude control and the two others for pitch and roll. Not sure it'll produce enough lift but it worth the try!
