B757-200 SAMAIR 79M
SAMAIR 79M was a Passenger Flight from Wright City to Yeager County with 162 passengers. The Aircraft was 2.5 year old Boeing 757-200. The pilots were Captain Kevin Al Soun who was American and Co-Pilot Larry Dan Ryan who was British. The flight was only 23 minutes long. The plane had just taken off from Wright Airport Runway 36 and climbed to 2607 ft when suddenly the plane banked to the right and stalled. The plane flipped upside down and unfortunately it smashed into the ocean next to the airport at 328 knots. The investigation proved that the Co-Pilot Larry was the one to blame as he put more thrust on the Left Engine Than the Right Engine causing a bank and then stall. 159 People died and only 3 survived including Captain Kevin Al Soun who also told about what his Co-Pilot did and still flew with SAMAIR for 2 years before retiring from his piloting career. The other two survivors were two passengers.
