Canberra has served throughout the Cold Wars, Vietnam War, Suez Crisis, etc, Canberra is very popular on the export markets, being procured for service in the air force of many nations both inside and outside of the Commonwealth of Nations. Canberra has served more than 50 years on some operators, the RAF, retired the last three of its Canberras, 57 years after its first flight.
