The TDR-51 wasn't the biggest tank destroyer in the world, or the most powerfull, but still, it proved itself to be a feared vehicle against the allies. the production of this vehicle started in 1936, when Joseph Wrate decided to create an all new vehicle capable of destroying fortifications and also cover the infantry. the first prototype started the tests in 1939 and was ready for mass production in 1940. the first versions were equipped with 50mm long canon but it proved to be inneficient. this version of the TDR is armed with a 76mm rifled canon. In Total, 335 of them were built but only 177 were sent to battle.
