Tuna 300
This is an improved version of Tuna 200. Tuna 300 is more maneuverable and also more stable to fly. This is unarmed helicopter, but there are countermeasure to fly over the hostile territory.
Building as well as piloting a helicopter is quite a challenge!
At least if you have some practice, and follow this instruction, you could fly and land this properly. I would say this is a much more maneuverable helicopter than the helicopter that comes with the game.
Instruction:
1) throttle to 100%
2) bring the VTOL (left sidebar) up to max for vertical flight
3) nose down, so that you will gain speed moving front.
this heli has a top speed of about 175 mph.
Landing
bring down the VTOL (left sidebar) slowly to the middle, heli will lose the altitude soon, (watch the altitude! you will crush if you do it too fast) do not reduce the throttle (engine) until it touches the ground. Nose up while landing, which will reduce the forward speed.
Yes, you need practice. I have posted a video on YouTube about handling.
Also, visit this
You Tube video link for "how to takeoff and land helicopters"
which will help you understand the controls if you are new. Yes, helicopters are sucks most of the time, and I have learned it (and still learning)
No Mods, build on 68 parts.
Feedback, advice and Upvotes are welcome!
