Liberator class heavy cruiser

The liberator class heavy cruiser was a cruiser manufactured in late 1942. It was often used for getting rid of ground targets, and supporting troops in beach landings. It got it’s name from a famous event that happened a little while before it’s production, or before it officially got its name. During this event, a few test ships of the Liberator’s design took part in a massive rescue operation, saving thousands of people.

It had a standard design. 4 Gun turrets on the front and back, torpedos, and secondary armaments. It had a decent max speed, but was still slower than most ships at the time.

This ship, the L.N.P. 1, “Liberator”, was the very first ship of the class. You could recognize it easily by looking at the red number “1” on its number 2 turret, a tradition that continued throughout all ships of the class.

NOTES

Once again, this is pretty much a rushed project.

I have learned a lot of new things including:

Fuselage scales (In XML) were really useful for the floors of this ship.
I am horrible at Making bridges
I thought it would have waaayyyyyy more parts

I was going to include a failed torpedo bomber of mine like this, but it just didn’t work
(I can put a link to it if you want)

Feel free to put whatever you want on the gray fuselages in the middle
I was going to put auto turrets but I’m horrible at XML
ALMOST FORGOT: my main inspiration (for the turrets and front half really) was the USS Cleveland. I don’t why but I just love the ship. Atlanta is also very nice in my opinion!!! E
I am also not dead. I think.

Enjoy!
