History: Designed as a successor to the Lc-45B trainer used by the Lycernian Air Force, the Longmoore Industries LI-22A is primarily used by the Lycernian Air Marine Corps. The aircraft features a straight-wing design, which is unusual in a trainer in a modern air force. It has very good roll and pitch rates, which is another reason why it was selected for the LAMC. It has a top speed of around 650-660 miles per hour (1,046-1,062km/h), which fills the gap of a subsonic trainer. It has a landing parachute for ease of use by the trainees, who would then go on to operate Lc-47 aircraft. Another reason why it was chosen by the LAMC was because of a feature the plane included where the instructor could turn the engines off to simulate loss of power mid-flight. Thevaircraft could also be used as a light ground attack aircraft, though the armor would have to bulked up by ground crews in the field. A swept-wing variant is also available, but resembles the Lc-45 to closely for most buyers to want it.
