TotallySafe Bluebird

The Bluebird is a two-engined general aviation craft featuring a realistic airfoil, custom landing gear, and custom control surfaces.
This has got to be one of my best planes yet. I’ve been browsing through the forums and improving my techniques. All to make this plane the best yet.
Note: No trim. I need to work that out.

This is the most simplistic design I have seen. But it looks so clean and neat! great job!
@PapaKernels Thanks!
This is pretty cool! Love it man!
@SuperRoto try this one.
@EternalDarkness The discord link said it’s invalid or expired.
@EternalDarkness Ok, I’ll try that out.
@SuperRoto as for trim, the input that works best is
clamp(Pitch + Trim/x, -1, 1)
. Replacex
with a number you want trim authority divided by.1
makes it equal to pitch authority,0.5
makes it half of pitch.@EternalDarkness Ok, that sounds good!
@SuperRoto certainly an improvement over your previous works. If you wish to improve your technique more quickly, you should visit the Builders Chat on Discord, where you can chat with other builders.
@MartinAviationAndAeronautics No, I’m not on any discord. I’ll try to do the trim things.
Are you on the discord server?...em you’ve probably done this already if it works but idk, try changing the rotator I put to Trim @SuperRoto
@MartinAviationAndAeronautics Thank you! I based it slightly off a Piper Seneca.
This is awesome! Like a piper Cherokee or something...keep improving on them techniques your doing great and just earned yourself a follower:).
If you know how to do trim with custom control surfaces, let me know!
