Here's some tips for ya:
1. For making custom wings, use a fuselage and put it over a regular wing. You have to reshape the fuselage into a wing shape.
2. Fine Tuner and XML are very useful. I recommend learning how to use them.
3. Use the scale tool to make pieces larger. You can put a sleek cockpit behind your cockpit of choice. Then make it longgggg to continue the shape. Paint it body color.
