semi-active air to air missile, next is the AM-14X, the standard short range semi-active missileI use, and last is the target designator. The purpose of the target designator is to enhanced the targeting angle of missiles. So if you engage a more agile aircraft you can use the target designator to lock onto the aircraft in a 360* angle.
