Rutan Model 61 Long-EZ
First flying in 1979, and plans available to the public in 1980, Burt Rutan's Long-EZ is an upscsled version of his VariEzy design. The Long-EZ is a homebuilt experimental aircraft with a range of 2,010mi and cruzing speed at 40%. Designed for long distance fuel effeciant flight, it has circumnavigated the globe (in 1997) and with some modification is capable of transoceanic flight. The canard design and sweeping wings increases manuverability in a stall and provides increased lift. Trim-Down for stable flight. Takeoff speed - 137mph at 100% power; Cruse speed - 180mph at 40% power; Max speed - 211mph at 10,000ft; Ceiling - 28,500ft+ :AG1 - drops fuel/cargo pods; AG8 - toggles lights on/off. I made some modifications to the original design, mine is longer, has more power and floats! It can take off in water providing you stay upright and keep the nose under control. 'Bouncing' helps you get airborne. Hope you enjoy!

Nice build. Please check my post of my version of the Defiant. It flies but I am having trouble getting the shape of the fuselage to be close to what it should look like.
Looks good. I'm a big fan of Burt Rutan's design works. Thank You for making this.
