Auto Credit Based on xNotDumb's WW2 Sea machine [Challenge]
History
the Liberty ship was a type of cargo ship built by the US shipyards to replace losses for the allied merchant fleet. A total of 2,710 vessels were built between 1941 to 1945. This ship came to symbolize the US industrial capacity and power during WW2.
The ships herself was not that good. Much of the Liberty ships was designed with triple expansion tubes for her engine, a max speed of 13 mph or 11 knots, an engineered lifespan of 5 years, with some literally breaking in half as her welds didn't hold up too well in the Atlantic Seas.
