USS Long Beach(Soviet version)
Thanks to my friend Ian Yashima for helping me with the cover image
The published version of this ship and the story below is fictitious! Don't take it seriously! The USSR never got and remodeled this ship!
Story
In the 1960s, a war broke out between the United States and the Soviet Union. In the end, the Soviet Union won for various reasons, but the Soviet Union could not annex the United States. In the end the United States paid the Soviet Union some fleet and other things. The Long Beach is also on the list of compensation.
After the re-emergence of the United States in the 1980s, the ship was remodeled, renamed Andre•zhdanov and re-engaged in the confrontation with the United States

My nokia dont suport:(
Probably. @TrueNoMan
@LegendaryPilot YeAerospace probably mistook Long Beach for a Chinese city having a name similar in literal meaning (literally "Long Sand")
@YeAerospace 长滩不是长沙
@YeAerospace ?
@1143 豁 真刑
Actually, more specifically, USS means "United States Ship" @YeAerospace
More like USS-R Long Beach, lol.
Okay, but USS is the standard term for American warships, literally meaning; "United States Ship", so yeah...
USS Long Beach?????????????
It's USS?????????????????
What is Long Beach????????????
It's "ChangTan",OK!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it's not "USS","USS" means american warships.
意思:这不是USS,USS是美国战舰。这不能意思翻译,要名字翻译
My guess is this is how the US could maybe fall:
A Communist uprising at home distracts much of the Democratic government's efforts while the USSR makes an invasion through Alaska, destroying many nuclear installations ahead of time while committing sabotage on ones already in the main 48 states. The only amphibious invasion would be across the Bering Sea, a monumentally easier task than across the whole Pacific given their fairly s*ty navy. The invasion of the 48 would be a bit more difficult given they'd either have to get Canada to join their side or flat out invade the Yukon and area around Vancouver through the mountains and winter, and then deal with a civilian population that has more guns than civilians.
It'd be a hard fight for the Red Army, but if they stuck to their general formula of throwing people at the bullets until the enemy ran out of bullets, they MIGHT make it through and secure either a ceasefire or a conditional surrender as described here.
Regardless, California and many Pacific states might be under the head, so the Soviets would have a shot at accessing US warships there.
IDK I'm tired as all hell right now and my mind came up with this.
@167167
In general, usually when captured ships are used for their own purposes, they are renamed. But if we assume that it was not renamed, then the name is not translated into Russian literally. Either it remains as it was, or it is written in Russian letters, but without translation: "Лонг Бич".
Oh wait it’s fictional lol I just read that I fell dumb now lol 😂
Is the story like some ace combat lore or something bc they never taught us that in school
@DerVito Sorry I don't know it but I won't do that again
If you do not know Russian, NEVER try to write in Russian with the help of a translator. This looks sooooo ridiculous xd
@Ian_Yashima thanks
