a variant for the bounty hunter jet that is good for defending bases, intercepting bombers with a new doctrine of aereal warfare, a gun that has a good spread can put a lot of holes for someone brawling with a few spin manuevers, even jets doing fancy flips can get caught in the spread, too accurate gunfire cant do that, so why not have both (named TIE for star wars reference)
