Notes: When taking off from the water, open the throttle and accelerate to approximately 130 mph before easing the nose upward. The plane should lift off soon thereafter.
When landing on water, ease back on the throttle until slowing the speed to approximately 180 mph or slower. Ideally, the plane should be parallel to the water before the pontoons meet the surface. Tilt the nose of the plane upward to allow the tail end of the pontoons touch the water, then lower the nose to allow the plane to glide across the water.
