PI Development Project 8126
Project 8126 is an advanced fighter designed for close range combat. It features weapons bays, a forward swept outer wing, and folding wings.
Project 8126's dogfighting capabilities are shown by the way it turns; It appears to always be on the verge of a stall (In narrative it is, due to numerous computers), but being completely stable. Maneuverability is superb, and its weapons load is chosen to allow maximum engagement time in a furball.
The weapons compose of two Model 014 Revolver Cannons, four MSLs mounted in the forward hull, as well as a weapons bay containing 4 4AAMs, 4 HCAAs, and two UGBLs.
The engines are still the afterburning turbofans found on most recent Project planes, giving it good speed.
There was a delay in development due to the outer wing flaps not working, but the issue was solved by a complete flap system rework.
Project 8126 is a worthy opponent in battle, keeping up with many advanced prototypes of the era.

Once I publish 8128, As a celebration of the 10th Project plane published I'm considering remaking all my other Project planes , and actually give them names, markings, etc. except for my recent ones, which are already mostly up to my standards. I might introduce variants too and maybe some more unique weapons.
