The Boeing XP-9 was a monoplane fighter aircraft designed by the Boeing design bureau as a sub-contract under the P-12 contract by the USAAC.
First flown in 1930, it possessed superior speed than the biplanes, but the aircraft's safety led to its rejection from service.

FLIGHT

The XP-9 is NOT for use as an acrobatic plane, don't pull up or down very much as it leads to handling problems.
It's your choice if you want to land in cockpit mode, like the real-life example that demonstrated that the XP-9 it is not safe to land using this airplane.

For VR-clad people there is no yaw pedal since the yaw control surface didn't had effect on the aircraft.

The lever on the left side is the throttle, the right one is the trim. There is no flap, so you will rely on your skills to land it.
How I land is to power the aircraft at about 20 percent and slighly pulling up until the main wheels touch the ground (and then brake).
