Thunderprop MK. IV

21.1k SpartanSR91  9.0 years ago

Codenamed "Thunderscreech", this aircraft is an experiment to reach mach 1 (760 mph) with only prop-driven engines (where did we see this before?). The aircraft never reaches mach 1 (top speed is 715 mph in level flight, 756 in a dive), but is my most maneuverable airframe so far. Do a loop in fly-by camera to see exacly how maneuverable this airplane is. If you try to land, keep in mind that this aircraft can keep flying with only two of its four engines intact and will even fly without one of the vertical stabilizers. This is also an older airplane that has been on my hard drive for even longer than any other aircraft I have uploaded (this was the second aircraft I ever built in Simpleplanes).
