Venture Aeronautics Project F410 "Condor"
This aircraft was designed to use updrafts to climb higher! For more information about how to use updrafts, click here.

GALLERY
Overview: the F410 "Condor" is a pressurized, high-performance sailplane with a retractable electric propeller that allows for self-takeoff. The aircraft is fitted with retractable landing gear, flaps, and vertical spoilers. The aircraft's low drag and large wingspan as well as its relatively low weight combined with its other advanced features make it an exceptional sailplane model and easily the most advanced sailplane in the Venture aircraft collection.
FLIGHT CHARACTERISTICS
Maximum Airspeed (TAS): 200mph, 322kph, 174knots.
Maximum Altitude: 30,000ft, 9,144m.
Takeoff Airspeed (IAS)(Flaps Full): ~40mph, ~64kph, ~35knots.
Landing Airspeed (IAS)(Flaps Zero): ~37mph, ~60kph, ~32knots.
Takeoff and landing airspeed values were recorded with no updraft.
For a gentle climb after takeoff, use SetWindSpeed 0 1 0
or SetWindSpeed 0 2 0
for a slightly more powerful climb.
Use SetWindSpeed 0 5 0
or greater for a rapid climb.
Use SetWindSpeed 0 0 0
for descent and landing.
Controls:
- Activate1: Spoilers.
- Activate2: Deploy/Retract REP Pylon.
- VTOL: Flaps.
- Trim: Trim.
NOTES
- Reduce throttle to zero and wait for the propeller to realign to the vertical position before retracting the REP pylon.
- Sudden changes in framerate can cause the propeller to lose thrust. Avoid using the propeller in laggy conditions.
- I recommend using full flaps for takeoff, but flaps zero for landing (to prevent excessive floating during landing).
- Flaps can be used to help gain altitude when riding an updraft.

@TheFlightGuySP Very Good
Cool
@CL125 It doesn't update the time until the aircraft finishes publishing.
I've spent the past hour working on the description.
