Ziegler Zi. 06B
One seat twin engine attacker from Ziegler Werke Troppau created to avoid enemy fighters and attack even heavy targets. This plane was constructed to be as maneuverable as possible. Stronger engines were used so Ziegler gains speed it needs to maneuver. Version B has stronger engines and bigger wings to manage to lift bombs and ammunition.
Fictional lore:
This plane reminds P-38 Lightning, however first Zi. 06 was tested 1936, long before XP38. At 1938 during Munich crisis Jacob Ziegler offered ten of those planes to protect sky of Czechoslovakia. Those planes were prepared and armed, but just a few test pilots were familiar with this plane. This offer was refused by Czechoslovakian Army as a product of "Sudetenland" factory, although in hands of Czech manufacturer. This model was later refused by commanders of Luftwaffe because of Willy Messerschmitt and his Bf 110. Just twenty of already existing planes joined Luftwaffe. No evidence about using them in action.
