On December 29, 2000, a British Airways flight 747-400 was flying from Gatwick, London to Nairobi, Kenya. During the flight, a 27-year-old Kenyan man broke into the cockpit and grabbed the control lever from the co pilot, causing the autopilot to disconnect. After climbing to 42000 feet, the aircraft stalled and began a rapid downward dive. Later, with the help of two passengers, the crew subdued the hijacker. The plane finally landed safely at Nairobi Airport, Kenya. Six passengers were injured due to the intense movement of the aircraft
