This is a fictional United States Marine Corps RA-5C operated by the USMC’s sole reconissance squadron, VMFP-3 “Eyes of the Corps”. In this fictional scenario after the squadron’s creation in the mid 70’s, instead of operating RF-4B’s like in real life, the squadron acquired these aircraft after the US Navy retired it’s fleet of RA-5C’s in the early 70s and used them all the way up until the squadron’s deactivation in 1990. I modeled this aicraft’s livery to how VMFP-3’s phantom’s looked like in the early 80’s when they were still operating off of the carrier USS Midway. This aircraft is purely a cosmetic change from the original publisher’s aircraft (excluding the removal of weapons excluding the nuke) and all credit is to go towards the publisher for the original aircraft. (On a side note, for weight and balance purposes I did NOT remove the nuke from the aft store bay, for your information.)
