Bm-21 rocket is a kind of 122mm 40 tube self propelled rocket developed by the former Soviet Union. The gun began to equip the Army Artillery Force in 1964. At present, both the motorized infantry division and the artillery regiment of the tank division have a Bm-21 rocket battalion equipped with 24 guns. It is mainly used to destroy the enemy's tactical nuclear weapons, fight against the enemy's artillery, and strengthen the firepower of the regiment's artillery group. It is usually deployed in the range of 2-6 km behind the frontier, and the depth of suppression is 14-18 km
