Bandit F/AV-8D Strike Cobra
147k Pilotmario
8.2 years ago
Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's Bandit F-8C Super Cobra
(1) activates main engine. (2) activates VTOL engine. (3-5) discharges missiles. A V/STOL strike fighter which has just entered service, it is an adaptation of the highly successful F-8E King Cobra. It is capable of taking off and landing vertically, although it prefers to take off conventionally but land vertically. Although slightly slower and less maneuverable than its conventional counterparts, its ability to take off and land vertically makes it an ideal aircraft for Marine and Navy use, where small runways are most common.
