History: The Martin Baker AJ-4A Covra was designed as an EWS/nighttime patrol aircraft for service in the USAF, RAF, RAAF, RNZAF, and USAAF. It sat a crew of two in a spacious cockpit but could also seat two more crew to operate the radar dish. The design was eventually sold to Avro, who produced the aircraft up until they merged. The aircraft is still in service with the RNZAF.
